FAQ's

Below are some questions we have been previously asked about our services.

Which areas of the UK can you work in?

We work throughout the UK from our Newcastle upon Tyne base.

Is your photography suitable for different types of media uses?

Yes, we shoot all our photography on high resolution Nikon cameras and photography is usually provided at full resolution. We also send duplicate versions of photography scaled down for screen uses and fast previewing. This ensures you have images suitable for print use as well as for screen use and social media as required. We can also batch scale images specifically to your requirements, just let us know what you need when arranging the shoot.

Can you photograph images for different screen orientations?

Yes, we can work with you when arranging a shoot to ensure we capture images which would suit your format requirements. For example if you wanted portrait images and landscape images of an interior space we can provide both. This needs to be discussed and specified prior to shooting.

What type of clients do you work with?

We have worked with a range of clients such as interior designers, architects, estate agents, design agencies, developers, hotels and architectural visualisers. We also work directly with home owners.

What style of photography do you take?

We provide a range of styles from shooting wide room spaces to detail images of interior design elements, furniture and building features. We can also shoot our work at different times of day, which we usually plan before the shoot. For example we can plan to minimise harsh sunlight in interior spaces or plan to photograph a building exterior at the best time for the sunlight. We also like to shoot at dusk which can highlight mood lighting or feature lighting at a property.

How much do you charge?

We like to chat over what you need to fully understand your needs, the project, timescales and any budget you may have. You can email us or call and we will be happy to discuss the project with you. We can then provide you with a quote based on the time involved and what you need.

How should we prepare for a photoshoot?

There are different considerations depending on what and how the images are being used for. For occupied residential property for example we would ask for any private items such as family photos or other personal items be removed prior to a photoshoot. This would also apply to workplaces which are in use. There are many considerations which may apply and we find it best to talk these over with you before the shoot.

What types of interiors have you photographed?

We have photographed residential interiors which are minimal and contemporary to historic and classical. We have photographed interior spaces in beautiful family homes as well as for developers and interior designers in newly built homes.

We have photographed commercial interiors in newly designed offices and workplaces as well as for hotel and leisure companies showcasing interior spaces in modern and traditional settings.

Do you use lighting?

We can use lighting such as flash or LED panels (generally in videography). Interiors are usually photographed using a combination of lighting techniques which differ to suit the environment and the mood of the interior space.

How do we receive the photography / videos?

Photography is delivered via a secure digital download service. We can send photography via courier or post if required however this must be specified when commissioning services.
